Childcare is available for children 6 weeks to 5 years old. Hours of operation are from 6:30AM to 6:00PM. Center-based care includes individual screening of each child’s unique learning abilities three times a year. Using these results CHILD, Inc. will provide learning opportunities geared towards your child’s individual needs. We provide breakfast, lunch, and a late afternoon snack to all children.
HEAD START AND EARLY HEAD START
Early Head Start services are delivered to expectant parents, infants and toddlers through two program options:
Center-Based services offer year-round childcare. Full-day care is available for children six weeks through age three with a maximum group size of eight. Six home visits/parent conferences per year are conducted. Parents are assigned hours based on their schedules. Meals are provided.

Home-Based services are also provided to expectant parents through individualized weekly home visits. Visits include education regarding prenatal development, prenatal care, and realistic expectations of pregnancy. Information about medical, dental, nutrition, and mental health resources available in the community are also provided
Children may be enrolled in Preschool only when they have attained 3 years of age.

Kindergarten is provided at our Draper Avenue center when a specific need in the community exists. This private, full-day program, offering extended hours of childcare, meets all local and state standards and provides a natural transition from our preschool program to the first grade. Individual, small group, large group, and cooperative learning curriculum experiences are offered that support children’s desire for knowledge and build the foundation for life-long learning. Parent conferences are held at minimum two times yearly to review report cards. Childcare is available during school and summer vacations. Meals are provided.
