Transportation is the responsibility of parents, unless otherwise arranged. Since our resources are limited, we are not able to transport all who request it. Therefore, transportation is limited to those with no other means of getting their children to and from the center. All arrangements of bus schedules and approval of individual transportation requests, are a joint decision of the center staff after a careful review of all circumstances.
All children who are transported must be walked out to the bus each morning.
The parent must accompany his/her child to a seat and be sure the seat belt is securely in place; in case of infants/toddlers, an age appropriate car restraint must be used before the bus will move. Also, all children must be picked up at the door of the bus each afternoon. These policies are important for the safety of the children.
Note: WE ARE UNABLE TO WAIT LONGER THAN THREE MINUTES AT EACH HOUSE. YOUR CHILD WILL BE RELEASED ONLY TO YOURSELF, YOUR DESIGNATED ALTERNATE, OR OTHER EMERGENCY PEOPLE YOU HAVE IDENTIFIED AHEAD OF TIME TO OUR STAFF.
