Head Start services are delivered to preschoolers through two program options:
Preschool Five-Day Option offers a part-day program for preschool children that operates September to May and includes home visits and\or parent conferences per year. Morning and afternoon sessions are offered. Meals are provided.
Preschool Extended-Day Option offers year-round childcare. Full-day care is available for up to 18 (providing there are no children under the age of 3) or 12 (if there are children enrolled under the age of 3) preschool children and includes four home visits/parent conferences per year. Parents are assigned hours based on their schedules. Meals are provided. Fees apply for extended day option.
